Description	:	Funeral services for Kenneth N. Kenyon, 62, Fort Ransom, N.D., were held on Friday, April 25, 2003 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Englevale. Reverend David Isaacson officiated. Mr. Kenyon died Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Kenneth N. Kenyon, son of Nichols and Emma (Dick) Kenyon was born on August 29, 1940 at Valley City. Mr. Kenyon died Tuesday, April 22, 2003 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Kenneth N. Kenyon, son of Nichols and Emma (Dick) Kenyon was born on August 29, 1940 at Valley City. He attended rural Elliott school, Elliott High School and graduated from Lisbon High School. Kenny served in the National Guard. In May of 1964, he married Ellen Louden. On July 14, 1989 he married Jane Stroh Lambrecht in Jamestown. Kenny worked for Berube’s in Lisbon. He worked for Bob-Cat in Gwinner for ten years. He owned and operated the Fort Ransom Locker for 14 years. He then farmed with his brother near Fort Ransom and Englevale. He had been Fire Chief in Fort Ransom, served on the Fort Ransom City Council, was a member of the Sportsman Club and served on Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Council. He is survived by his wife, Jane, Fort Ransom, three daughters, Janelle (Ryan) Rufsvold, Jamestown, Teresa (Robert) Olson, Fort Ransom, Amanda Olson (Brett Meidinger), Billings, Mont. one step-son, Chad (Lynnette) Lambrecht, Englevale; two step-daughters, Genene (Mark) Aabrekke, Milnor, and Kris Lambrecht, Fargo; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Larry (Shirley) Englevale. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jill Rufsvold. Pallbearers for the funeral were Philip McDaniel, Bob McDaniel, Brad Dick, Steve Sibley, Tim Dick, and Lawrence Dick, Jr.. Music was provided by organist Marlene Dahl, with special music by Joel Dick, Marsha Huether, and Brad Dick. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Lisbon
