He was an employee of Federal Mogul for 24 years. He was a member of the Snowville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Estle J. Cox, Sr. and one brother, Isaac Elvin Cox. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Dishon Cox of Christiansburg; his mother, Esther Dickerson Cox of Radford; two sons and daughter-in-law, Kenneth R. Cox, Jr. of Blacksburg, Christopher and Shannon Cox of Roanoke; two daughters and son-in-law, Lori and Rev. Ronnie Duncan of Radford, Paige Cox of Christiansburg; two sisters and brother-in-law, May and Ted Dishon of Dublin, Edith Miller of Virginia Beach, Va.; one brother and sister-in-law, Estle J., Jr. and Elaine Cox of Dublin; three grandchildren, Nicholas Cox, Hilary Cox and Hallie Duncan. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 30, 2000 at 2 p.m. at the Snowville Baptist Church with the Rev. Neil Wood and Rev. Ronnie Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Sand Cemetery in Floyd County. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Snowville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday at the Snowville Baptist Church. Arrangements by Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
