Pahl, 18, Route 2, Holgate, died Saturday morning in St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, while undergoing surgery for injuries sustained in a single-car accident on Defiance County's New Bavaria Road. He was born in Napoleon on September 2, 1967, the son of Jack and Carolyn (Gerken) Pahl, who survive. He was born in Napoleon on September 2, 1967, the son of Jack and Carolyn (Gerken) Pahl, who survive. Also surviving are three brothers, Robert, James and Jeff, all of Route 2; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Gerken of Route 4, Napoleon. Preceding him in death were grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Urban Pahl. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Stephen Lutheran Church. Rev David F. Sherry will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation at Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon,will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today.
