Description	:	Kenneth Jinks, 80, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. He was born Aug. 11, 1928, in Big Bow, to Charles and Delores Pudge Jinks. The family lived in the Ulysses area before moving to Larned, where he graduated from Larned High School in 1946. He lettered in basketball, football and baseball and was a member of the Men's Chorus. He married Loyce Hopper and they moved to Hutchinson, where they lived for about 14 years. Read More	Kenneth Jinks, 80, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. He was born Aug. 11, 1928, in Big Bow, to Charles and Delores Pudge Jinks. The family lived in the Ulysses area before moving to Larned, where he graduated from Larned High School in 1946. He lettered in basketball, football and baseball and was a member of the Men's Chorus. He married Loyce Hopper and they moved to Hutchinson, where they lived for about 14 years. After he received a job promotion, the family moved to Oklahoma City. While working for Northrup Aircraft he was transferred to Tehran, Iran, where he worked until the Shah was overthrown, at which time he returned and moved to Kansas City, Mo. He remarried and lived in Independence, Mo., where he was an accountant at various companies until he retired. He then bought a lake house on Lake of the Ozarks, living there until he decided to move closer to his daughters and grandchildren, relocating to the Tulsa area. His hobbies included golfing and fishing, he loved square dancing, round dancing and traveling, especially to warm places. He was a pilot and flying was one of his favorite pastimes.
