Also surviving are a grandchild; 11 stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Nona Clarke of Monticello; and a brother-in-law, Harley Harnden of Anoka, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Connie Beadle, and a stepgrandchild. Born the son of Charles and Grace Leguire Beadle on March 21, 1925, in Marion, he married Elsie Harnden-Fessler on July 10, 1965, in Rockford, Ill. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II. Kenneth worked for Arps Paint and Wallpapering for more than 40 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of VFW of Anamosa and Painters Local Union No. 447 AFL-CIO. Kenneth was an avid golfer since the age of nine. He will be loved and missed by all. The Rev. Mark Tuttle will officiate. Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous or a charity of the donor's choice.
