Description	:	Kenneth W. Paulsen, 93, of Wheatland, passed away Tuesday April 21, 2020, at the Wilton Retirement Community in Wilton. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Wheatland, Iowa. Kenneth Walter Paulsen was born January 22, 1927, in Muscatine County, the son of Walter and Esther (Otto) Paulsen. He married Evelyn L. Heick on April 3, 1948, in Davenport. She preceded him in death on April 18, 2015. Together they farmed near Stockton, until they retired in 1988 and moved to Wheatland. He was a member of Farm Bureau and the Lion’s Club. He and Evelyn enjoyed playing cards, dancing, camping, traveling in their RV and spending time at Mac’s Triangle Restaurant. He also enjoyed woodworking in his shop and playing his accordion at several nursing homes. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Surviving are one daughter, Pamela (Jeffrey) Turkle of Stockton; three sons, Ronald (Ellen) Paulsen of Durant, Dennis (Linda) Paulsen of Waterloo and Myron (Julie) Paulsen of Wilton; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Imogene Rohling of Wheatland. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his step-father, Fritz Stoltenberg, two sisters, Elna Schroeder and Mildred Brown and one brother, Donald Paulsen. Chapman Funeral Homes
