A native of Carter County he was the son of the late Willie and Anna Lou Baird Lyons. He attended Keenburg Elementary and Elizabethton High School. Mr. Lyons was of the Baptist faith and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He worked as a self-employed Electrical Contractor and later as the Electrical Inspector for Carter County. Read More	Mr. Kenneth Wayne Lyons, 72, Life Care Center of Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, May 17, 2009. A native of Carter County he was the son of the late Willie and Anna Lou Baird Lyons. He attended Keenburg Elementary and Elizabethton High School. Mr. Lyons was of the Baptist faith and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He worked as a self-employed Electrical Contractor and later as the Electrical Inspector for Carter County. Mr. Lyons enjoyed woodworking and music. He owned and operated K and W Karaoke. He was a member of the V.F.W. and served on the honor guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Darrell Lyons; and an infant daughter. Survivors include his five children, Kelly Bryan and her husband Wayne, North Carolina, Felecia Livingston and her husband David, Elizabethton, Tammy Grindstaff, Virginia, Danny Lyons and his wife Wendy and Angie Lyons, all of Florida; tengrandchildren, Kayla, Kaycee, Tyler, Austin, Daniel, Amie, Staci, Meghan, Logan and Heather, one sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Clinton Boswell, Johnson City; one sister-in-law, Hettie Lyons, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
