Originally from Charleston, W.Va., he graduated from Sissonville High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed by Henry Schein Dental of Richmond, Va., as a dental equipment technician. Kenny is the son of Salome M. Walker of Charleston WV and the late Reno F. Walker. He was born and raised in Charleston WV and then moved to upstate NY for 20 yrs. to be a dedicated father. He moved to Lynchburg 8 yrs. ago to live with his daughter and granddaughter. Kenny worked for Henry Shein and had many dear friends there. He also enjoyed his AA program for 34 years and had many great friends there as well. He was a loving father and grandfather, an all around great person and will be missed by many. He is survived by his children, Nicole E. Walker of Lynchburg and Chad A. Walker of Syracuse NY; three grandchildren, Layla M. Walker, Trevor A. Walker, and Chelsi M. Walker; two siblings, Donny Walker and Shirley Boggs. A memorial service will be held 6pm, Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 200 Boston Ave., Lynchburg.
