Read More	Kent "Cubby" Andersen 45 BILLINGS, MT. — Kenton Eugene "Cubby" Andersen, 45, of Billings, Mont., died Thursday, March 31, 2005 of a heart attack. Services will be held Monday in Billings. Smith Funeral Chapel of Billings is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Andersen was born April 1, 1959 at Grand Island to Gene and Eleanor (Boltz) Andersen. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Margi; one son, Kolbey Eugene; two stepchildren Nick and Riley Anthony; his mother, Eleanor Anderson; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Julie and Bill Schmitt and Pennie and Jerry Pearsall; and one grandmother, Edna Boltz. Survivors also include nephews Derek Schmitt, Parker and Reese Pearsall; and nieces Angie and husband Troy Madsen and many, many friends. Kent's family moved to Billings at 9-years-old and he completed schooling there, graduating from Billings Senior High in 1977. After graduation, Kent worked as a surveyor in the oil industry, traveling and working throughout the United States. Kent returning to Billings 12 years ago and was currently surveying for Interstate Engineering. Kent enjoyed his profession and made many lifelong friends while surveying. Kent loved spending time in the great outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, camping and tinkering in the garden. He also liked to watch sports, favoring football and NASCAR racing. He was a great handyman, willing to lend a hand whenever his help was needed. But what Kent enjoyed most of all was spending time with his family, his friends and his dogs. Kent was adored by his family and mostly by his 2-year-old son Kolbey. He was a loyal companion to his wife, Margi and loyal friend to many. Kent enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a mild-mannered and generous man. Kent was known for his good sense of humor and his ability to tease! He liked just takin' it easy and shooting the breeze with is friends and people in general. Everybody he met was his friend! Kent was preceded in death by his father, Kermit Eugene "Gene" Andersen and three grandparents.
