Description	:	Kermit Marvin Ketelsen was born February 27, 1926 at rural Goose Lake. On July 31, 1949, Kermit was united in marriage to Julia Irene Mensinger at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlotte. He farmed much of his life and was a claims adjuster for American Mutual Insurance for 22 years. Kermit was a longtime and active member of Immanuel Lutheran, Charlotte, serving as Elder, Trustee and Congregation President and belonged to Immanuel's Fellowship Club. He wrote a column in the Charlotte Web entitled "Kermit's Kolumn" until recently. He enjoyed family get-togethers, going to auctions, camping and traveling. Preceding Kermit in death were his parents, a brother, Elmer and a sister, Vera Hansen.
