After graduating from Columbus High School... Read More	Kevin Daroll Rennie, 55 of rural Columbus died Saturday, May 9th 2015 in Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. Kevin was born March 10, 1960 in Columbus, Kansas. He was the son of Daroll Rennie and Rosalie Epler Rennie. Kevin and Debbie Christmas were united in marriage on July 16, 1987 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kevin was employed at Rockwell in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After moving to Kansas he worked at the Parsons Ammunition Plant. Throughout his life he was employed for various trucking companies. He retired because of ill health. After graduating from Columbus High School Kevin attended NEO College, K-State and later Barclay Bible College. He preached at a number of Churches in Kansas and Colorado. Kevin was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and reading various articles. But spending time in God’s Word and praying for others was something that Kevin put first. He was a member of the Friendship Friends Church and attended Tennessee Prairie Friends Church for the last several years. Kevin is survived by son, Cody Rennie of Fort Riley, Kansas, daughters Megan Rennie of Joplin, Missouri and Staci Rennie of Pittsburg, Kansas, his mother Rosalie Rennie, brothers, Kyle Rennie (Leslie), Kregg Rennie (Janice), sisters, Kelli Vanderbeck (Eddie), Kara Parker (Richard), and 3 Grandchildren, Hunter Rennie and Karson and Aria Fears, also stepchildren Jason and Shawn Streeter as well as several nieces and nephews. Preceding Kevin in death was his father, Daroll Rennie. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Friday May 15, 2015 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus, KS with Pastor Dave Robison officiating. Burial will follow at McKee Cemetery in Rural Cherokee County. Family will receive friends from 7-8:00pm Thursday May 14, 2015 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus, KS; friends may call after 2:00pm Thursday. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the American Diabetes Association and/or Tennessee Prairie Friends Church.
