The Rev. C. C. Gutekunst officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery. The youth was killed Friday morning in a tractor accident on the farm of his father, James Stadtmueller, five miles southeast of Monticello. The Monticello emergency unit was called shortly after 9 a.m. Kevin was born Oct. 25, 1954 at Monticello, the son of James B. and Dorothy D. Kray Stadtmueller. He would have been a sophomore at Monticello Community high school this fall. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and the Youth League. He also was a member of the Monticello chapter of Future Farmers of America. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Alan L. and John D., at home; two sisters, Jane L. and Ann Louise, at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stadtmueller, Anamosa, and the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma Kray, Anamosa. Casket bearers were Thomas Harms, Richard Null, Robert Null, Jerry Egger, David Jacobs and Tracey Meeks.
