Description	:	Kevin Michael Larson, 31, of 901 North Jackson, died Saturday at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness. He was born Aug. 15, 1959, in Deer Lodge. He attended school in Choteau, Great Falls and Helena. He graduated from Helena High School in 1977 and the University of Montana in Missoula in 1981 with a degree in elementary education. Mr. Larson traveled in northern and western United States and Europe with the group "Up With People" in 1981 and 1982, playing piano. Read More	Kevin Michael Larson, 31, of 901 North Jackson, died Saturday at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness. He was born Aug. 15, 1959, in Deer Lodge. He attended school in Choteau, Great Falls and Helena. He graduated from Helena High School in 1977 and the University of Montana in Missoula in 1981 with a degree in elementary education. Mr. Larson traveled in northern and western United States and Europe with the group "Up With People" in 1981 and 1982, playing piano. He returned to Helena and started motel management training, and later moved to Olympia, Wash., to manage a motel. From there, Mr. Larson managed the Value Inn in Kent, Wash., and then later moved to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho to train at the Coeur D'Alene Resort Hotel. In May he returned to Helena because of illness. Mr. Larson was a member of St. Helena Cathedral Parish, Sigma Alpha Epsilon at the University of Montana, the Chamber of Commerce in the cities where he worked, and the Motel Association. Survivors include his parents, C.C. "Kelly" Larson and "Pat" Larson of Helena; one sister Kelle Ann Larson of Helena; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial mass will be celebrated today at 10 a.m. in St. Helena's Cathedral with Rev. Jack Darragh as celebrant. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date in Choteau Cemetery.
