On Tuesday morning the 20th of April, Mrs. Keziah Frail, relict of the late George Frail, and daughter of the late Ebenezer Fitch of Chester, departed this life in the 90th year of her age. She was a great sufferer for a number of years, during all which time she exemplified true Christian patience and resignation to the will of God. Mrs. F. was a worthy member of the Baptist church in Chester, from its first adoption of the principles by which the churches composing the N.S. Baptist Association now profess to be governed. I send you this brief notice in order to apprize her numerous friends in the different parts of the country of her death. It is very probable that some of her friends will shortly furnish a more lengthened notice, for insertion in the C.M. There were many traits in her character calculated to demonstrate the purifying principle of the Gospel of Christ. Her unwavering attachment to the cause of God, and her affectionate regard for his people, was ardent and continued to her last moments. Just before her death she said to one of her grand children, who was a member of the church, “Farewell, do not forget to give my love to all members of the church.” ‘They die in Jesus and are blessed, how soft their slumbers are.’ ‘Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his.’ Ever yours, Jas.
