Her first career began at Fields Floral in the early 80's, She loved flowers and often sent them to her friends and family. She married Steve Wagner in 1982. Kim became a realtor in 1991 and spent her entire career at Home Real Estate. During her career she was recognized multiple times for her success with selling houses. Kim had a heart for those in need, it didn't matter what your income level was, whether you lived in a big house or were homeless. She was going to get you into a home and was a fierce advocate for her clients. Just read the comments on the Facebook group, '"Prayers for Kim Roberts" and you will instantly see she was the shining light in many lives. An unconditional lover of anyone in need. Even if you thought you weren't in need she knew you were and she walked by your side, always giving selflessly and never asking for a thing. If you stepped out of line she would often say, "For Pete Sake just get on the bus and let Him do the driving." Kim and her dad had a special relationship. She would come with him on many bowling trips where he would compete in tournaments. They also took several road trips together and a few visits to Vegas. In the last couple years, she had met her dad for breakfast almost every morning to start her day. Their big thing, the newspaper! She also enjoyed helping her mom teach the kids at church. Every summer she would help her pick out flowers for her house and plant them wherever she wanted. Kim loved flowers and plants. She liked to keep her yard looking beautiful and well groomed. One of her favorite spots was in her backyard, with her feet up on a chair, under her umbrella. Also, a very big part of Kim's life was AA. She had been actively involved for 30 years. She served on many committees and went out of her way to nurture new members. She didn't tell you to follow her nor did she walk behind you steering you this way or that, instead she walked by your side every step of the way. We don't know how many buses she filled with people but certainly the AA bus was overflowing and if she were here today she would remind you to get on the bus. He's driving. Though we will all miss her every day in every way she will always be with us. When you see a bus, smell a flower, walk into your home, or even when you think, "For Pete sake why did I do that?" It'll be Kim's memory living on in you. A memorial service will be held at the College View Seventh-Day Adventist church Sunday, October 3, 2021 at 10:30 PM at 4801 Prescott Ave. Burial will follow.
