Three weeks ago last Sunday she was delivered prematurely of twins. It is a heart rending case. They were so happy. Prior to her confinement her husband and her had been out visiting friends near Bennet. While away, friends living in the eastern part of the county came to visit them. Not being able to enter the house, it being cold, they made a fire in the yard. Returning and nearing their home, it being dusky, they saw the fire and jumped to the conclusion that their dwelling was on fire. This alarmed her to such an extent that Doctors were immediately summoned. Dr. Cameron and Deck helped her with great difficulty. She being of a good constitution, rallied quickly and went about her work. A week, or thereabouts, ago, chills, as they supposed, set in, in verity blood poisoning, which culminated in death. It is, indeed, a pitiful case.
