Born January 18, 1918 in Millstone, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Florence Myers Younker. She was retired from Sheetz in Hancock and was formerly a seamstress employed by Jacob Brothers and Calburn Industries, both of Hancock. She was a member of Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren, Hancock. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roger E. Weller of Hancock; two daughters, Louise E. Golden of Hancock and Phyllis A. She was a member of Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren, Hancock. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roger E. Weller of Hancock; two daughters, Louise E. Golden of Hancock and Phyllis A. Weller of Hagerstown, MD; four sisters, Mary Moats of Little Cove, PA, Ruth Mallott and Hilda Palmer, both of Williamsport, MD and Edna Younker of Needmore, PA; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Alice Younker; six brothers, James Younker, Leo Younker, Wallace Younker, Lloyd Younker, Robert Younker and Ray Younker. Services were held on Friday, October 13 at the Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren, Hancock. The Rev. Harry E. Strite officiated. Burial was in the adjoining church cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main Street, Hancock. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stone Bridge Brethren Cemetery Association, 11917 Snug Harbor LN, Williamsport, MD 21795 or to Hospice of Washington County, 101 East Baltimore Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
