The 1900 US Federal Census lists Christine living with here mother, Anna Anderson (widow) and her brother, Ingvard, at 519 Oak Street in Clinton. Descendants of her brother, Jes, have a family history article which mentions that Christine was 'intellectually disabled'. The following US Federal Census records list a Christine Anderson which is probably her: ● 1910: An 'Inmate' at Independence State Hospital, Washington Township, Buchanan County, Iowa. Age 31, no occupation listed. She and her parents all born in Denmark. ● 1920: A 'Patient' at Iowa Hospital for the Insane, Washington Township, Buchanan County, Iowa. Age 41, no occupation listed. She and her parents all born in Denmark. ● 1940: An 'Inmate' at Clinton County Home, Washington Township, Clinton County, Iowa. Age 62.
