Description	:	Koert Rieke Seehusen, 91, of Grundy Center, died Saturday, Jan. 3, at Grundy County Memorial Hospital Long-Term Care. He was born June 27, 1917, in rural Dike, son of Rieke and Etta Miller Seehusen. On Dec. 5, 1942, he married Roszella Andreesen in Biloxi, Miss. She preceded him in death. Mr. Seehusen served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Italy. He farmed east of Grundy Center, did custom feed grinding, owned the Holland Grocery Store and later went to work for Clay Manufacturing, Cedar Falls, retiring in 1981. Preceded in death by: two brothers, George and John; a sister, Etta; and an infant daughter. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Colfax Center Presbyterian Church, rural Holland, with burial in the church cemetery. Public visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center. Memorial fund: has been established. Condolences may be left at www.abelsfuneralhomes.com.
