Description : Tragedy saddened the TL community this week. L. D. Long, better known as Jimmy, 24, died Oct 20 in St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre of injuries received in a traffic accident.

He died on the day, and near the hour, he was to have been married to Maxine Rousseau, also of TL. Jimmy received multiple injuries when the 1953 Ford pickup he was driving crashed into a bridge abutment, a mile west of Cheyenne Agency.
