Description	:	Laddie E. Leach, of Arcadia, Nebraska departed this life and entered The Eternal Home on, November 17, 2009, at Bryan LGH East Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Laddie was 73 years of age having been born on March 13, 1936, on the family ranch 10 miles west of Arcadia, Nebraska to Leland and Evelyn (Bristol) Leach. Laddie was raised on the ranch and received his education at Spring Creek Rural School and Arcadia (Nebraska) High School. Laddie was raised on the ranch and received his education at Spring Creek Rural School and Arcadia (Nebraska) High School. On September 11, 1953, Ladd was united in marriage to Arlene Lybarger at Arcadia, Nebraska. To this union three daughters and two sons were born. The couple lived in many states while Ladd worked as a lineman for over 11 years. They moved to Broken Bow, Nebraska where Ladd was the Electrician for the City of Broken Bow, Nebraska. In 1968, Ladd and his family returned to the family ranch west of Arcadia, Nebraska For the past 30 years Ladd has resided in Arcadia< Nebraska. Ladd ranched and drove trucks for over 40 years. However he was most passionate about training horses which he did most of his life. After purchasing the training stable in Arcadia he also enjoyed Quarter Horse Racing. He attended the Arcadia (Nebraska) United Methodist Church and was a 4-H leader. Ladd was involved in the Jr. Rodeos and furnished the calves for the rodeos. Besides his love of horses he also enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cards. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Arlene of Arcadia; three daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Dan Hurlburt, Lisa and John Sheets, all of Arcadia and Kally Dorn of Bennett, Wash.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Luella Leach and Marty and Jessica Leach, all of Arcadia; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Polly and Willis Dalby of Waxhaw, N.C., and June and Donnell Holeman of Arcadia. He was preceded in death by his parents.
