Description	:	LaDonna Hadley age 87 of Fredericksburg died Sunday evening, August 7, 2011, at the New Hampton Care Center. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011, at the Peace United Church of Christ in Fredericksburg with Pastor Burt Williams officiating. Faye Elliot will sing "I Asked The Lord" and "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow." She will be accompanied by Gail Allison. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Friends may greet the family 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Fredericksburg. Visitation continues an hour prior to the funeral at the church on Thursday. Hadley was born January 31, 1924, in rural Fredericksburg, Iowa, the daughter of Herbert and Hilda (Kammeyer) Bierman. She attended rural country school, and graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1942. On September 21, 1942, at Peace United Church of Christ in Fredericksburg, she was united in marriage to Keith Hadley. To this union, three children were born. She worked at Beatrice Foods. LaDonna enjoyed camping, fishing, singing, cooking, and playing cards. She was a lifelong member of Peace United Church of Christ. Survivors include her three children, Roger (Susan) Hadley of Tuscon, AZ, Donna (Tom) Smith of Muscatine, IA, Richard (Rita) Hadley of Spokane, WA; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Keith on January 17, 1997. Memorials: If so desired, memorials may be made to Peace United Church of Christ, Fredericksburg.
