Garrett, 82, of 309 N. Sheridan Ave., died May 3, 1983, in Kansas City Memorial Hospital in North Kansas City, Mo. She was born April 3, 1901, in Wapello County to John and Minnie Wilkins Watts. She was a former employee of Ottumwa Hospital. She was a member of Davis Street Christian Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She married Lamont W. Garrett Dec. 23, 1933, at Lancaster, Mo. He died in 1967. Survivors: a daughter, Clarice Bosley of Spickard, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Wilberta Carr of Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild; and sisters Margaret Davis and Isabelle Piper of Ottumwa and Veleta Allee of Marion, Ind. Service: pending at Johnson Funeral Chapel.
