Description	:	Lambert Jones Rites Held Here Monday Reburial rites were conducted here Monday afternoon for Lambert A. Jones Jr. pharmacists mate second class, who lost his life June 17, 1945. The body arrived here with military escort. Services were conducted by the Rev. J.L. Garland at Hengstlers Chapel and burial was in Greenwood cemetery, where full military honors were provided. He was graduated from Winnetoon High School with the class of 1939. In January 1942 he accompanied his parents to Globe, Ariz. to live. He was united in marriage to Earline Pond at Miami, Ariz. in September 1941. To this union was born one son. He enlisted in the navy in December 1942 and was 23 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and five year old son, Arthur Earl, of Long Beach, Calif.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Jones Sr.; seven sisters, Mrs. J.W. Van Camp and Mrs. Dean McCafferty of Long Beach; Mrs. Mildred Hudgens of Huntington Park, Calif.; Mrs. Leo Jensen of Idaho Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Willis Kienow of Bloomfield, Mrs. Lawrence Doerr of Madison, S.D. and Mrs. Wm. Doerr of Plainview; one brother, C.L. Jones of Globe. Ariz. All the members of his family were present for the funeral as were four of his brothers-in-law; Leo Jensen, Willis Kienow, Lawrence and William Doerr and one aunt, Mrs. Beulah Payne of Sidney, Iowa. ...The Creighton News
