She was born in Kendallville on May 28, 1951 and was one of three children born to William Bushong and Carol (Pierce) McMurray. She lived her lifetime in the Albion area, graduating from Albion-Jefferson High School in the Class of 1969. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the Arabian Horse Club. Read More	Lana Jo (Bushong) Tumbleson, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 2:00pm at her home in Albion. She had been ill for the past 9 years. She was born in Kendallville on May 28, 1951 and was one of three children born to William Bushong and Carol (Pierce) McMurray. She lived her lifetime in the Albion area, graduating from Albion-Jefferson High School in the Class of 1969. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the Arabian Horse Club. Mrs. Tumbleson enjoyed music, crafts, painting, riding her horse and cosmetology. She was a graduate of Ravenscroft Beauty College. For the past 17 years, she worked at Parker Hanafin in Albion. On December 27, 1994 she married Timothy J. Tumbleson in Bonita Springs, Florida. He survives in Albion. Also surviving are her mother, Carol McMurray of Mason City, Iowa. Children, John Mountz of Kendallville, Brad (Amanda) Mountz of Kendallville, Jennifer (Adam) Strack of Fort Wayne. Grandchildren, Taylor, Kayla, Chloe and Abigail Mountz, Breanna and Brooke Strack. A sister, Mindy Collazo of Florida, and a brother, James Bushong of Goshen. She is preceded in death by her father, William. Funeral services for Mrs. Tumbleson will be on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Brazzell Funeral Home, Albion Chapel. Rev. Bret Frymier will officiate. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion.
