Description	:	Lang Franklin Ball, 81, passed away Friday, July 25, 2008, at a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a Navy World War II veteran and a local farmer. He was retired from TVA and was a member of the Asbestos Workers Local 46 of Knoxville. His passion was being outdoors and on the water. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Aimer Sandidge Ball. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Revs. Drew Henry and Lu Crandall officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Springs Cemetery. Bryan Holden, Jeff Holden, Mitchell Holden, Terry Calfee, Tyke Calfee, and Nathan Lents will serve as pallbearers. Ronnie Ball, Gene Cox, and Garry Ball will serve as honorary pallbearers.
