P. 110. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Funeral services for Lannes Erling Ellingson, 85, McHenry, ND, were held Tuesday, November 3, 1992, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, McHenry, ND, with Rev. Elwyn J. Nissen and Rev. Eric Hulstrand officiating. He died Friday, October 30, 1992 at Golden Acres Manor at Carrington. He was born in Cherry Lake Township, Eddy County, ND, March 14, 1907, the son of Joseph and Gertrude (Bjorgo) Elliingson. He was raised and attended school in McHenry where he also farmed. He married Susan Falla November 27, 1935 in Binford, ND. He was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of McHenry; served on the board for a time, member of Sons of Norway, Cooperstown; Eagles Club of New Rockford; served as county commissioner for 10 years, member of Florence Township Board. He had been a resident of the Golden Acres Manor of Carrington for the past two and a half years. He is survived by his wife, Susan of McHenry; two sisters, Shirley Bergan and Dora Delfs, McHenry; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
