He was untied with the Brush Creek church in 1866 and later moved his membership to the Coweta Baptist church where he has been a faithful member. He was united in marriage to Sarah Ann Moore December 23, 1866. To this union were born 10 children, 9 of who are living. He has 29 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. ---------------------------------------- Setzer and Allied Families by Lawrence Wood, page 79: - "Note: Uncle Larkin and Aunt Sarah Holbrook lived for several years on Walnut Creek at what was later known as the Charlie Jones place. After this they moved to Otto. Their house was always one of the most beautiful homes in Macon County and the home was filled with love and welcome for the kith and kin. Mother (L. Wood's mother) recalled with nostalgia the many visits she and grandmother Dellener Strain Crisp mad to Uncle Larkin's home and the many meals they enjoyed there. All great grandmother Strain's family were always very close to the Holbrook family. As a child it was always such a pleasure for me to visit the Holbrook family and not relatives will ever be more dearer to me than "Cousin" Annie Oliver Norton and her son Jim Norton. They have done so much to help me with old family records and it always brings back sweet memories of childhood when I visit at Jim's home."
