Description	:	Larry A. Johnson age 43 of Princeton, Minnesota and formerly of Valley City, North Dakota died April 4, 2008 at his residence after a difficult battle with lung cancer. Larry Allen Johnson was born March 22, 1965 at Valley City, North Dakota the son of Howard and Janice (Nordahl) Johnson. Larry grew up and attended school in Valley City. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Free Lutheran Church in Valley City. Larry Allen Johnson was born March 22, 1965 at Valley City, North Dakota the son of Howard and Janice (Nordahl) Johnson. Larry grew up and attended school in Valley City. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Free Lutheran Church in Valley City. On August 31, 1991 Larry married Laurie Christensen of Kensington, Minnesota at Messiah Lutheran Church in Hoffman, Minnesota. The couple most recently made their home at Princeton, Minnesota. Larry's passion in life was fishing, hunting and camping. He also loved to teach his nieces and nephews about outdoor life. The last few months of his life Larry accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and savior, and had peace he was going home to be with his heavenly father. Larry is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Laurie, Princeton, Minnesota, his mother Janice Johnson, Valley City, one brother Rick Johnson, Fargo, three sisters, Robbin (Dwight) Kiefert, Valley City, Lori Johnson, Valley City and Holly (Larry) Phillips, El Dorado, Kansas, fourteen nieces and nephews, Curt Johnson, Kimberly Warcken, Kristine Kiefert, Cheryl Bonham, Melissa Ternnes, Heather DeLoss, Mara Peterson, Dylan Phillips, Hillary Phillips, James Phillips, Tyler Christensen, Charles Christensen, Brandon Groenewold and Brianna Groenewold, eight great nieces and nephews, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Percy and Darlene Christensen, Kensington, Minnesota. Larry was preceded in death by his father Howard, one nephew, Matthew Kiefert and his grandparents. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday April 9, 2008 in Grace Free Lutheran Church in Valley City with Reverend John Rieth officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery later in the spring. Arrangements by Lerud-Johnson-Schuldt Funeral Home.
