Description	:	Larry Dee Foster 75, passed away on March 22, 2014 in Kingman, KS. He was born on October 20, 1938 to Orville and Dorothy (Kopf) Foster in Anthony, Ks. He attended schools in Cleveland and Kingman. He went on to attend technical school, received his certificate as an electrical technician and worked at Lear Jet/Bombardier for 35 years retiring in 2001. He met and married Shirlene Barnes on March 10, 1957 in Pratt, KS. To this union was born their daughter Rebecca. Larry was an avid hunter. He was born on October 20, 1938 to Orville and Dorothy (Kopf) Foster in Anthony, Ks. He attended schools in Cleveland and Kingman. He went on to attend technical school, received his certificate as an electrical technician and worked at Lear Jet/Bombardier for 35 years retiring in 2001. He met and married Shirlene Barnes on March 10, 1957 in Pratt, KS. To this union was born their daughter Rebecca. Larry was an avid hunter. He thoroughly enjoyed raising quail and then hunting quail and replacing the coveys with those that he raised. He raised many litters of German Shorthair pups and spent his leisure time training those for the hunting season. He was an avid bow hunter as well, as seen by the many pairs of mounted racks hanging on his walls of his home. He was an active supporter of the Kingman County Humane Society often taking in and fostering abandoned dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy Warfield. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Shirlene of the home; daughter Rebecca Henning of Kingman, KS; sister, Donna Yoder and her husband Bob of Goddard, KS; brother Orville Foster and his wife Naomi of Langton, KS and three grandchildren Greg, Mark and Lyndi Henning, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Harper Cemetery in Harper, KS with Reverend Joshua Bell officiating. Memorials may be given in Larry's name to the Kingman County Humane Society and sent in care of the funeral home. Friends may register 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday & Tuesday. Arrangements are by Prairie Rose Funeral Home, 613 W. 14th, Harper, KS 67058
