Read More	Double Rites Held For Charles Talbott And Son Larry Double funeral services were held Feb. 17 for Charles E. Talbott of Snoqualmie and his son, Larry E. Talbott of Seattle, in the chapel of the Issaquah Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Buck officiating. The elder Mr. Talbott was born Aug. 27, 1902 in South Dakota. His parents, Albert and Sophia, moved to Snoqualmie in 1907. He was educated in Snoqualmie and was employed by Weyerhaeuser for 24 years. After his retirement from Weyerhaeuser, he worked for several years in Alaska and was then employed as a powder monkey. He was a state employee until a disabling injury forced his retirement in 1963. He was married to Alice Anderson in 1928 and they became parents of a son, Larry, who succumbed last Wednesday morning several hours after an attack by person or persons unknown. The elder Mr. Talbott was found dead Monday evening, presumably of a heart attack, on the Mount Si High School football field. Charles Talbott is survived by his wife; a daughter, Eva Bastion of Eugene, Ore. and a son, Raymond, of Yuba City, Calif. from a former marriage; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Cecil Luckhurst of Vashon, Maude Costa of Seattle and Gail Albien of Anaheim, Calif. Larry was born Aug. 25, 1939 in Seattle. He graduated from Mount Si High School in 1956. He is survived by his wife, the former Diana Babcock of Snoqualmie Falls, and three children, Ronald 9, Bradley 8, and Lorraine 5. He was employed at the Seattle Post Office terminal at the time of his death. He was a part-time employee of the Far West Cab Co. in Seattle and was on duty as a cab driver when he was attacked Tuesday evening. Soloist for the services was Paul Elmer with Mrs. Hazel Wilfong at the organ. Pallbearers for Mr. Talbott were Messrs. L. J. Dubey, M. F. Terhune, James Patrick, Leslie Stroming, D. T. Alexander and Leonard Johnson, all members of the IOOF. Honorary pallbearers were Tom Norstand, Louie Alm, Samuel Bateman, A. M. Lessard, Donald Nims and Walter Coby. Pallbearers for Larry were Messrs. Peter Palmer, Charles Gensen, Wally McCluskey, Roy Ledbetter, Ron Krickenbeck and Phil Griffiths. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Mahoney of the Far West Cab Co. and five postal employees from Seattle. Interment for father and son was at the Fall City Cemetery.
