Description	:	Larry L."Butch" Lewis, 73, of rural Bonaparte died at his home at 10:13 am Friday December 27, 2013. He was born July 18, 1940 near Utica south of Stockport to William and Edith Robbins Lewis and married Doris Basquan. They divorced. Butch graduated from Bonaparte High School, served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1967 and worked as an inspector at Iowa Army Amnmunition Plant, Burlington. Butch graduated from Bonaparte High School, served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1967 and worked as an inspector at Iowa Army Amnmunition Plant, Burlington. Surviving are two sisters, Sharon Elliott(Dean)of Bonaparte and Gerry Roller(Timothy)of Knoxville, TN, four nieces, a nephew, two great nieces and a great nephew. His parents, a sister, Billie Tovrea and two brothers Buddy and Bernadale Lewis preceded him in death. His body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm Monday December 30, 2013 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, Rev. Timothy Roller officiating. Visitation with family present will be 5-6 pm Monday prior to the service. Private burial of cremains will be at a later date in Bonaparte Cemetery. Memorials to Kahoka Bible Baptist Church.
