Description	:	Larry Lee Mullen, the son of Eldon Duane Mullen and Lois Lucy (Golly) Nolan was born June 30, 1956 in Greenfield, Iowa. Larry entered eternal rest Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at the VA Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of sixty-two years. Larry joined the United States Marines right after high school on March 31, 1975 and was stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. Read More	Larry Lee Mullen, the son of Eldon Duane Mullen and Lois Lucy (Golly) Nolan was born June 30, 1956 in Greenfield, Iowa. Larry entered eternal rest Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at the VA Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa, at the age of sixty-two years. Larry joined the United States Marines right after high school on March 31, 1975 and was stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged from active duty on March 3, 1979. It was in the Philippines where he met his future wife. He was united in marriage to Natividad (Babe) Patiag at 29 Palms, California, on the military base September 26, 1977. Larry and Babe later divorced, remaining close friends. Larry had five children. Following his military service, Larry worked for the CO-OP in Corning for several years. Larry worked from 1988 to 2008 for the Pipe and Piling Company (Michigan based company), in Papillion, Nebraska. He worked for them as a Yard Foreman for 15 years, faithfully driving from Corning to Papillion every day. Larry was a member of the Corning American Legion OURCQ Post #117. He had many hobbies which included mushroom hunting, gardening, fishing and playing cards. Most important though, he was a devoted father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Left to cherish Larry’s memory are his children: Larramie (Kristina), Kathy (Mike), Jaime (significant other Devin), Luke and Erik; twelve grandchildren: Emery, Abbigale, Hannah, Autumn, Mersades, Deakon, Maddison, Natalie, Mark, Quincy, Alexis and Charlotte; three great-grandchildren: Jorge, Amore and Emmanuel; mother, Lois; grandmother, Vivian; brothers: Kerry, Nick (Angie) and Mark (Dede); sisters, Lisa (Jim) and Marci (Tom); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and other relatives and friends. Preceding Larry in death were his father, Eldon Mullen; paternal grandparents, Charles and Clara Mullen; grandfather, Ernest Golly.
