Description	:	The Chronicle Conconully Larry M. Hamilton, age 67, passed away at his home July 30, 2008 surrounded by his loving wife and family. Larry was born on October 6, 1940 to Elsie and Mel Hamilton. He grew up in Omak and graduated from Omak High School in 1958. He served in the Navy from 1958-1961. He retired from there as... Read More	The Chronicle Conconully Larry M. Hamilton, age 67, passed away at his home July 30, 2008 surrounded by his loving wife and family. Larry was born on October 6, 1940 to Elsie and Mel Hamilton. He grew up in Omak and graduated from Omak High School in 1958. He served in the Navy from 1958-1961. He worked at the Okanogan Sheriff's Department until establishing the Tamarack in Conconully. He moved his family to Wenatchee where he worked at the Chelan Sheriff's Department. He retired from there as sergeant in 1994 and returned to Conconully. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, riding his quad and playing with his grandchildren. He is survived by Bonnie (Reed) Hamilton of the home; daughter, Carla Railsback; granddaughters, Kristen and Andrea; daughter, Tina (Randy Sr.) Catchot; grandsons, Randy Jr. and Sheldon (Sara); and precious great-granddaughter, Marlie Michelle; son, Lonny Hamilton; grandsons, B.J. and Andrew; son, Monte (Donna) Hamilton; grandchildren, Shelby, Kylee and Spencer; daughter, Marti Dodge; grandchildren, Brett, Tayler and T.J.; grandson, Alex Greene; and brother, Loren Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Elsie (Quade) Hamilton. Graveside services were held Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 at 4 p.m. at Conconully Pioneer Cemetery in Conconully. A celebration of life will be held immediately after at his favorite watering holes in Conconully. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to prostate cancer research or a charity of one's choice.
