He attended Hemingway Pentecostal Holiness Chur-ch. He was a Mason with Indiantown Masonic Lodge # 165. Larry served as Chief of Police for the Town of Hemingway, and afterwards, employed with Don's Scrap Metal, Tup-perware and Johnny's Furniture. Larry was predeceased by his parents E. Cox; son, Elliott (Jackie) Cox of Winston-Salem, NC; daug-hters, Sherri (Ken) Laster and Buffy (Andy) Owens both of Hemingway; brothers, Harrell (Brenda) Cox of Pamplico, Carol (Brenda) Cox of Hemingway; sisters, Elwyne (Johnny) Norton of Johnsonville, Deborah (Steve) Cox of Pamplico; sister-in-law, Dorothy Cox of Hemingway; grandchildren, Amber Evans, Adrienne Owens, Amara Var-ney, Jonathan Laster, Andrew Owens and Elias Cox. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Thursday September 2, 2010 in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 10 AM, at Morris Funeral Home in Hemingway. Memorials may be made to Hemingway Pentecostal Holiness Church, PO Box 463, Hemingway, SC 29554 or Winyah Hospice, 217 Dozier Blvd., Suite 200, Florence, SC 29501.
