Mr. Moss was born in Union, SC , January 31, 1960, a son of Laura Joyce Alman Moss of the home and the late Harrison Moss. He was employed with Adams Brothers Logging and was a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two sons: Jamison Larry Moss and wife Beth and Matthew Moss all of Union; two grandchildren: Madison Lea Frost Moss of Jonesville and Jay Levi Moss of Union and two step-sons: Brad Smith of Pelzer and Lee Smith of Jonesville. Mr. Moss was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Willie Lee and Norma Farr Gallman; paternal grandparents, Rufus and Myrtle Palmer Moss and a step-grandmother, Annie Stevens Alman. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2009 at Mt. Joy Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Alan West and Rev. Scott Cobb. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens Active pallbearers will be Collie Knox, Will Prince, Philip Gallman, Toney Harris, William Moss and Ricky Thompson. The following are asked to assemble at the church at 1:45 PM Monday to form the Honorary Escort: Rodney Alman, James Alman, Ricky Alman and the employees of Adams Brothers Logging.
