Arrangements by Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street, Aberdeen. Larry William Bain was born on December 29, 1947, to Elva and Lydia (Dobrick) Bain in Aberdeen, SD. He grew up on the family dairy farm 6 1/2 miles west of Aberdeen. He enjoyed the farm life and especially loved his Palomino horse Flicka and his silver saddle. When he was a boy, they had to sell the farm due to his father's health. They moved to Aberdeen where Larry finished his education. On July 29, 1972, Larry was united in marriage to Deborah Kaye Moss in Aberdeen. Larry worked for Jack Noltner on his farm and continued to work there when Jack's son John 'Jackie' Noltner took over. Larry and Deborah moved to Sioux Falls, SD, where Larry was employed by his brother-in-law, Mel Almindinger as a carpet layer. After five years, they moved back to Aberdeen. Larry went back to work on the Noltner farm until retiring in 2018. Deborah passed away on May 12, 2008. Larry loved to have a good time and enjoyed dancing and parties, especially Halloween parties. His favorite pastime was spending time with his friends at Jim's Gun and Service Center playing poker and watching football. Larry liked to work on classic cars and trucks. He liked music, especially Elvis, and loved dancing. He took great pride in his immaculate yard. Family was very important to him, and he loved spoiling his grandchildren. Grateful for having shared Larry's life are his children: Michelle Anderson, Shane Bain, and Robin Artz; his grandchildren: Dion Bain, Paige Bain, Morgan Bain, Cody Bain, Chance Glaser, Alesha Glaser, Blaze Sievers, Charlie Schnaidt, and Kraven Schnaidt; four great-grandchildren: Tracyen, Mason, Isaiah, and Malachi; and five siblings: Betty Almindinger, Kathy Almindinger, Carol Grovenburg, Mike (Tammy) Bain, and Sue (Robert) Sayer. Preceding Larry in death are his parents, wife, Deborah, and siblings: Mary Pudwell, Elle Bain, Arnold Bain, Donald Bain, Robert 'Bob' Bain, and Shirley Freeman. - Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home
