Description	:	Lars Larson, one of the oldest residents of Seward county, died at his home in Seward at an early hour last Thursday morning, aged 80 years. The deceased had not been in the best of health for some weeks, but his death came as a shock to his many friends who had greeted him on the street the day before. He retired as usual on Wednesday evening, but when he was called in the morning he made no response, and upon investigation it was found that he had passed away some time during Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Mr. Larson was born in Sweden on March 10, 1825, and died May 11, 1905, aged 80 years, 2 months and 1 day. He came to America in his youth, and settled in Wisconsin in the pioneer days of that state, and with his family came to Nebraska thirty-five years ago and settled on a homestead north of Tamora, he owning a half-section of land there. He resided north of Tamora until eight years ago, when he moved to Seward where he has since resided. Mr. Larson was married when he was a young man to Miss Lydia Adams. As a result of this union fourteen children were born, six of whom are living. The funeral services were conducted at the late home of the deceased on Saturday at 2 p.m., by Rev.
