Andersen, 35, who entered the service a year ago, is now in England Pfc. Otto Andersen, 25, is in Africa with a bombardier squadron. In the camps at home are Pvt. Clarence Andersen, 32, with an army engineering division at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Also in the engineer corps is Cpl. Ernest Andersen, 21, stationed at Camp Rucker, Ala. The only one serving in the navy is Walter, 17, now on his way to camp for boot training. Mrs Andersen has two sons in Mason City, Martin, foreman at Decker's, and Harry, also at Deckers/ Three sons-in-law are Lawrence Rish and Grant Imlay, Mason City, and Burton Mcilhatton, Mexico, Mo. Mrs. Lars Andersen and Mrs. Clarence Andersen are making their home here and Mrs. Otto Andersen, Jr., lives with her mother at Forest City, while their husbands are in the service. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Andersen and 3 small sons came to the United States from Denmark in 1911. Since then 12 children were born to them. Two of whom died before their father, who passed away in 1938. Mrs. Andersen has two daughters at home, Leona, in high school, and Betty Jane, age 8.
