Description	:	LaRue Harris (nee Burbank), beloved wife of the late Howard Harris, passed away in Taber on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the age of 86 years. The Funeral Service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden. LaRue is survived by her 4 children ; 1 son-in-law, sixteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Howard Harris; son Melvin Jay Harris; daughter Dana LaRue Pender; parents Frank and Dean Burbank; sister Geneil Eldridge; brothers Darrel Burbank, Larry Burbank and Blaine Burbank; brothers-in-law Perry Kenney, Don Eldridge, Danny Laurie, Bill Westhora and William “Babe” Ackerman; sisters-in-law Lois Westhora, Loreen Ackerman and Marcella Burbank. LaRue married her sweetheart Howard Harris on June 30, 1948 in the Cardston Temple. They raised their families in Taber. LaRue and Howard moved to Victoria for three years and upon returning to Taber, LaRue worked at the Taber LDS Stake Centre until their retirement. LaRue loved her family, every child and grandchild were important and special to her. She especially loved the little grandchildren coming to visit her in her last years obituary taken in part from Southerland Chapel and Funeral Home Web site, contributor Kathie R Postoloski-Friesen (#47763673 .
