Mrs. Mongold, the daughter of Otho L. and Lucile Morman Robey, was born August 24, 1913, at Maryville, and was a 1932 graduate of Horace Mann High School there. Mrs. Mongold, the daughter of Otho L. and Lucile Morman Robey, was born August 24, 1913, at Maryville, and was a 1932 graduate of Horace Mann High School there. She also attended Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville. On March 17, 1948, she was married to Ross Mongold, who survives her of the home. An American Red Cross volunteer, Mrs. Mongold was a member of the Business and Professional Women and the Bowling Association, both of Maryville. She was retired from the U.S. Bureau of Census and was previously employed by Montgomery Ward in Maryville. She was of the Christian faith. Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Bill and Don Robey; a sister, Helene May; and a grandson, Mike Mongold. Additional survivors include a son, Roger Mongold, Albuquerque, N.M.; two stepchildren, Richard Mongold, Gower, and Madeleine Gillis, Mound City; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held on Monday, Jan. 18, at the First Christian Church in Maryville with the Rev. Robert Allen officiating. Burial was in the Miriam Cemetery, Maryville, MO.
