Description	:	Mrs Moulton passed away March the 29th at her home on Livermore Falls Road. She was born February 1, 1848, daughter of Moses and Betsey (Boynton) Paige, on what is known as the Shubel Sanborn place in Thornton. During her early childhood the family moved to Mill Brook. She attended school in Thornton and later with two of her sisters went to Lawrence, Mass, to work in Pacific Mills, and a few years later went to Pitman Hosiery Mill at Laconia. She was born February 1, 1848, daughter of Moses and Betsey (Boynton) Paige, on what is known as the Shubel Sanborn place in Thornton. During her early childhood the family moved to Mill Brook. Mrs Moulton was one of twelve children. She attended school in Thornton and later with two of her sisters went to Lawrence, Mass, to work in Pacific Mills, and a few years later went to Pitman Hosiery Mill at Laconia. On January 6, 1878, she was united in marriage to Arthur C Moulton of Thornton and they located on the farm formerly known as the Perkins place, where they lived until fourteen years ago when they moved to Plymouth. Mrs Moulton was a charter member of the Progressive Rebekah Lodge of Campton. Besides her husband, son and granddaughter, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs Edwin H Gordon of North Woodstock and Mrs G Farwell of Amherst, also several nieces and nephews. The funeral service at her late house was conducted most impressively by Miss Mildred Merrill of Laconia, who has been serving as Pastor of the Thornton church. The rites administered under the auspices of the Progressive Rebekah Lodge were most impressive. A large number of friends were present, including the following from out of town. Mrs Edwin H Gordon and Wilbur Gordon of North Woodstock, Fred G Farwell and Mr and Mrs Fred O Stevens of Amherst, Mr and Mrs Clarence Barnard, Laconia, Mr and Mrs Kenneth Barnard of Bristol, Miss Lena Moulton, Gilmanton, Mrs Lora Raymo and Mr Sargent of Lakeport, Mrs Harry Buzzell, Concord, Mrs Elmer Burleigh, Mr and Mrs William Downing, Mr and Mrs Frank Ham and Mr and Mrs J A Kendall of Woodstock, Mrs Eva Cook of Campton and Fred Spokesfield of West Campton. Mrs Moulton was laid to rest in the Cemetery at West Thornton near her old home, under the supervision of Ernest Nichols. The bearers were Wilbur Gordon, Fred Stevens, Clarence and Kenneth Downing. Mrs Moulton until 25 year ago when she had a nervous breakdown was very active in social life, was a most competent home-maker and a helpful, loving wife and mother. She was a modest, conscientious Christian woman, giving joy and comfort to all who came within the radius of her personality. For a number of years, Mrs Moulton had been able to do but very little and the past few days she was cared for most devotedly by her husband, son, granddaughter and Mrs Hattie Steele, a cousin of Mr Moulton. >The Plymouth Record, April 7, 1934, p5.
