Her Family moved from Ohio to Portland, Jay county, Indiana sometime between 1881 and 1884. She met and Married Sheridan Seville Morton Hutzler son of William M. Hutzler and Mahalia Jane Duckett. Children Born to Sheridan and Laura were as follows: Son: name unknown birth and death unknown Miscarriage Son: Paul Lancelot Hutzler (1897-1960) Abdominal Carcinomas Son: Hugo Depalma Hutzler (1901- 1936)Hemorrhaging Stomach Ulcers Son: Otho William Hutzler (1902-1937) Suicide- After a sever back injury Daughter: Constance Hutzler (1905-1909) Unknown Daughter: Nellie Octolo Hutzler (1907-1911) Spinal Meningitis Daughter: Violet Omega Hutzler (1912-2002) Congestive Heart Failure,Chronic Renal Failure Son: Carl Hubert Hutzler (1918-1922) Bronchial Pneumonia Laura and Sheridan moved from Portland, Jay County, Indiana in 1908 to Marion County, Indianapolis, Indiana in 1910 Census they were living at 1443 West Ohio street in Indianapolis with boarders, in 1920 the census shows them living in Indianapolis Ward 8, Marion, Indiana and in the 1930 Census it shows Laura and Sheridan in Indianapolis having boarders they had a large home and utilized the space to make money during the depression years. In about 1931 Laura and Sheridan separated although they never divorced they never lived together again. Besides running a boarding house, Laura worked for nearby department stores she worked for H.P. Wassons and Co. and The Star Department Store on West Washington in Indianapolis, spending 25 years in the service industry. Laura ran the boarding house a few more years after her separation from Sheridan, She also was associated with the Psychic Science Spiritualist Church at 1415 Central Avenue in Indianapolis for many years, becoming a working Psychic Medium in 1951. In 1953 she moved with her son Paul to Arizona she also remained faithful to spiritualism .She remained with Paul Until his death in 1960 than she moved from Tucson, Arizona to Lebanon, Boone County, Indiana With her daughter Violet. After a fall that caused her to need surgery and a pin in her hip she became bed-fast. Violet cared for her until her death from heart failure on June 25, 1963.
