Description	:	Laura Ann, daughter of George M. and Liza Pitcher Eastman, was born February 24, 1875, at Forest City, Mo. She passed away at the Fairmont Rest Home January 3, 1964, at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 21 days. She came to Nebraska at an early age, living in York County most of her life. She was united in marriage to George Riley Chambers February 28, 1895. To this union six children were born, all of whom are living. She passed away at the Fairmont Rest Home January 3, 1964, at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 21 days. She came to Nebraska at an early age, living in York County most of her life. She was united in marriage to George Riley Chambers February 28, 1895. To this union six children were born, all of whom are living. She and her husband resided on a farm until 1937, when they retired and moved to York. She was a member of First Christian Church since childhood, and a member of the church at York, and attended church as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbor lodge at McCool. She was a kind and loving mother and always ready to lend a helping hand to all in need. Left to mourn her passing are two daughters, Matie Gentry of Exeter, Rena Taylor of York, four sons, Glen R. of Bellflower, Cal., Earl M. of Forest Grove, Ore., Wayne L. of Lincoln and Kenneth E. of York; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law Mary Stonerook of Pacific Junction, Ia., and a host of other relatives and friends.
