Description	:	" Mrs. Laura A. Stevens at the residence of her daughter Mrs. I. G. Robinson near Maple Corner. Mrs. Stevens broke her limb above the ankle about ten days ago, it was supposed she was doing quite well until yesterday when she suddenly died of heart failure. The deceased was born in Calais in 1828, and was the daughter of Alvah and Laura Rich. She leaves two sons George T. and Charles D. Swasey of Barre and a daughter Mrs I. G. Robinson of Calais. The deceased was born in Calais in 1828, and was the daughter of Alvah and Laura Rich. She leaves two sons George T. and Charles D. Swasey of Barre and a daughter Mrs I. G. Robinson of Calais. There were also two brothers of Glover and Wisconson. She had two husbands Samuel H. Swasey and Charles Stevens their being no children of the latter union. Mrs. Stevens was a member of the Methodist church, an industrious, kind, thoughtful and helpful woman and did with her might what her hands found to do, and was loved most by those who knew her best. For a large portion of her early life she was under unusual responsibilities but she accepted then in a cheerful spirit and faithfully performed all allotted to her path of life.
