Description	:	Laura B. Neal, the daughter of Nathan and Flossie Waddle Martin, was born March 7,1905, at Forest City, Missouri. She died August 10, 1987, at Keokuk Area Hospital, at the age of 82 years. She married Clark Neal on October 21, 1927, at Rushville, Nebraska, and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Parrish of Terrence, California and Mrs. Betty Albright of Keokuk, Iowa; two brothers, Orace Martin of Kansas City and W. R. Martin of Lawndale, California; three grandchildren, Allan Parrish, Michael Albright, and Lance Corporal Robert Albright; and two great grandchildren, Linda Kay Albright and Christina Albright. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Martin Perry Neal. Mrs. Neal was a telephone operator in Monmouth, Illinois from 1945 to 1953. She was a member of the Emanuel United Methodist Church in Keokuk, Iowa, and Chapter #547 Order of Eastern Star of Williamstown. Services were held Thursday, August 13, at Wilson Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Grant B. Tadlock officiating. Pallbearers were Eldon Scott, Michael Albright, Allan Parrish, Elmer Barlow, Roland Martin, and Solon Thompson. Interment in Etna Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Emanuael United Methodist Church.
