Description	:	Mrs. John Mole, who has been a sufferer for a year or so past from cancer, passed away early on Friday morning last at the family home on the Maiden Road. In the 56th year of her age. Deceased’s maiden name was Laura Bailey Creeper, daughter of Joseph Creeper, of Gesto, and came to Gesto with her parents from Bowmanville when 3 months old. She has lived in this section ever since. Read More	Mrs. John Mole, who has been a sufferer for a year or so past from cancer, passed away early on Friday morning last at the family home on the Maiden Road. In the 56th year of her age. Deceased’s maiden name was Laura Bailey Creeper, daughter of Joseph Creeper, of Gesto, and came to Gesto with her parents from Bowmanville when 3 months old. She has lived in this section ever since. Besides her husband to whom she was married on Dec. 20th, 1893, she leaves four sons and two daughters – Ernest, William, Ray, Eva and Beulah, at home, and Joseph of Olinda. She is also survived by her father and two sisters, Eva (Mrs. B. F. Sweet), of Windsor, and Mable (Mrs. D. D. Sweet), of Gesto, and a half-brother, John Horne, Detroit. A brother, Joseph, and half-brother, William Horne, are deceased. Mrs. Mole was a most estimable lady and was as well known to all in the section that her death has cast a pall over the community. The sincerest sympathy will go out to the bereaved family in their sad affliction. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon, services being conducted at the family home on the Maiden Road by Rev. T. C. Wilkinson with interment in Cottam cemetery. The paull-bearers were the four sons John Pickett, of Gesto, and Gerald Horne, of Windsor. During the services Mrs. Alvin Sweet and Mrs. T.C. Wilkinson sang a duet, “God Will Take Care of Your.” Which was a favorite of the deceased and was rendered very nicely. The funeral was largely attended by neighbors and friends. Mrs. Mole was a member of the United church here for many years.
