Description	:	Laura B, third daughter of Elizabeth and Rev James B Gray, was born in Butler County, Ohio, February 5, 1884. Her parents moved to Montgomery county, Indiana, the same year, where she grew to womanhood. At the age of twelve she was converted and joined the M E Church of which she remained a faithful member. She came with her parents to Lisbon, Iowa in 1864 where she was married to H R Barley on December 28, 1870. Read More	Laura B, third daughter of Elizabeth and Rev James B Gray, was born in Butler County, Ohio, February 5, 1884. Her parents moved to Montgomery county, Indiana, the same year, where she grew to womanhood. At the age of twelve she was converted and joined the M E Church of which she remained a faithful member. She came with her parents to Lisbon, Iowa in 1864 where she was married to H R Barley on December 28, 1870. To this union three children were born, Elizabeth M, now the wife of Lester Walker, James A and William E Barkley, both of Sioux City, Iowa. In 1880 she came to Marshall county, where her children grew up and where she has since resided. For the past nine years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs Walker. Here she died September 23, aged 62 years, 5 months and 18 days. She is survived by two brothers and four sisters; Mrs Eliza Stout of Mt Vernon, Mrs Mary Ingersol of Danville, IL, Margaret A Gray, John S Gray, Mrs Emma Adams and Isaac Grey, all of Marshall county. She was a patient and loving mother and a kind neighbor and is mourned by all who knew her. October 4, 1906 State Center Enterprise.
