LAURA SMITH Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Brown Smith, 68, widow of Crawford Smith of Pacolet, who died at a local hospital at 5:30 o'clock Thursday morning will be conducted Saturday at 3 o'clock at the Montgomery Memorial Methodist church at Pacolet by the Rev. W.T. Tate. Burial will be in the Pacolet Station Baptist church cemetery. Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late George and Iantha Jett Brown of Spartanburg. She was a member of Montgomery Memorial Methodist church. Surviving are two children, Mrs. D.B. Greene of Pacolet, Ray Smith of Charleston; three sisters, Mrs. Tom Cutton (sic) of Pacolet, Mrs. Minnie Littlejohn of Greenville, and Mrs. Vivian Glymph of Greenville; two brothers, Jesse Brown of Pacolet and Willie Brown of Gaffney. The body will be at the home of Mrs. Greene at Pacolet after 11 o'clock today, where it will remain until the hour of the service. The J.F.Floyd Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
