Description	:	Laura Emma Ogden was born in Ogdensburg, Tiogo County, PA., in 1849. She was married to Henry C. DeVall at Leroy, Pa., June 27th, 1866. Five years later in 1871, the family came to Burlingame and lived here for 16 years until 1887. Then they moved to southern Missouri, settling in Taney County, near Kirbyville. DeVall, Branson, Mo., Mrs. Edna Blanset, Great Bend, Kansas, Mrs. Velma Swift, Reeds Spring, Mo. Mrs. DeVall passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. E. Cheek in Oklahoma City, on December 31st, 1926, being aged 77 years and 10 days. Her husband preceded her in death 16 years ago, the date being November 14th, 1910. He was interred in the Burlingame Cemetery, and she will be laid by his side. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Branson, Mo. The funeral services were held at the Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon conducted by the pastor Rev. John Endacott. A quartet, Miss Vera Hakes, Mrs. Florence Powell, Earl Sutherland and Earl Amos, Miss Pearl White, organist, rendered appropriate music. A large number of relatives were here to attend the funeral.
